Any MMA fan will tell you that Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is one of the most effective forms of martial arts. Check out the UFC hall-of-famers and see for yourself. Most fighters specialise in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and win by submission on the ground.

So what exactly is Brazilian Jiu-jitsu? Think of it like a game of human chess. Your goal is to “tap out” your opponent through a series of techniques and movements. Our students will tell you the workout is energetic, challenging and highly addictive.

Don’t worry if the techniques feel a bit confusing at first – it usually takes a few months before you can start connecting the dots, but your friends will be impressed when you show off your ability to attack and defend yourself with chokes and arm bars!
