How did you get into Martial Arts training and how old were you when you started?
I started about a year ago, I was 23 and looking to start boxing of some sort. Extreme popped up online, so I came down and tried it out.
What style of Martial Arts do you train in?
Thai boxing and boxing.
What are some of your leisure activities and hobbies?
Chilling with friends, walking my dog, and relaxing more than anything. Thing is, being a Chef you don’t have a lot of time, so pretty much, yeah…relaxing!
How did you feel when you first stepped into Extreme? How do you feel now?
Oh my god when I first walked in here it was so intimidating, because you have all these guys doing [Brazilian] Jiu-Jitsu and boxing and you’re like “do I even belong here?”. My self-confidence at that time was nothing pretty much, and yeah, it was really intimidating, it was crazy.
Now, it’s like a home away from home for me. I’m there pretty much every day and I love it, it’s weird if I’m not there.
How has your time at Extreme impacted your life?
I’ve lost about 24 Kilos in 9 months, all thanks to [Thai Boxing/Boxing Coach] Dinesh. I owe him my life because he’s changed me in so many ways from confidence, to my self-esteem, and everything else.
Tell us something that your fellow students might not know about you?
I love Harry Potter. I can say some movies from word to word, when it comes to Harry Potter.
